I must say, though I don't condone quitting, I can commiserate with Ryu in the first video. He completely outplayed his opponent in each of those rounds yet lost them all. It's difficult to avoid getting lax when you're playing someone so bad.
Again, he should NOT have quit, but I do feel his pain. ;)

I'll admit, I did feel bad/dirty with that one, but he should know better then to let a Gief with ultra meter empty jump next to him. Even more so after I did it every round. If he just jumped away once I knocked him down he probably would have won because he did a decent job of keeping me away.

Decent job? I wouldn't say that when he gets hit by 3 Ultra's.
Don't feel bad mate, if you can't deal with this situation and quit, you're as bad as all other quitters.

The Akuma video ended exactly the way 90% of my matches do. Plug pulls during the long Ultra.

I don't agree with quitting, but Gief is easily the biggest no-skill required character to choose.
Lariet a few times and your opponent is down to half life. Throw in one piledriver and they are almost dead. All the while, the opponent is beating the crap out of Gief simply to stay competitive.
Watch out Gief, you're gonna be slammed come patch time. Enjoy your skill-less wins in the meantime...lol

LOL a skill-less gief has around the same potential as a srk spamming ken. Unless the opponent is retarded, it's not too hard to beat them, just gotta know what to do. There is a lot of ways to keep gief out and even more ways to punish him.
I can almost see the Ryu player raging hard after getting hit by the third Ultra. Only reason he waited for it to finish instead of quitting right there and then.
It's annoying to lose like that, to be sure. But then again, what loss isn't? :P
That Ryu would have won easily if he knew how to get out of that brainless empty jump into Ultra setup - he was dominating the rounds until the Ultra came out.

Jeez people. You sound like a bunch of shoto players crying because they too have been similarly raped. At any rate, RYU is the #1 no skill required character. His combos practically chain themselves. The ONLY thing that needs to be nerfed about Zangief is the Lariat. And only slightly. If you're stupid enough to fall into his jump/ultra strategy then you deserve the sore posterior.

While I don't usually bash characters, I've got to agree with anyone saying Ryu is more "skillful" than Gief.
His stuff comboes way easy. Shoruyekn beats or trades with near eveything in the game. He has the easiest (not by himself, because more have it too) counters to jump in that he can even combo his Ultra off of.
Gief is another easy to play character only really because the matches that are on his favor are WAY in his favor. If you have a character that is good against Gief, Gief is pretty much dead because he is so easy to counter with those characters.
If you want difficult, try Fei Long or Vega where almost none of their moves are safe, can't do much damage, and can't take damage all that well either. Doesn't mean you can't win with them, but it is a lot harder.
I feel no pitty for anyone with a Shoyuken (well, not Sakura) or Sagat complaining about another character being cheap or too good.
fun fact#1 I once beat a guy with my eyes closed with Zangief,I'm just saying. When I opened my eyes his Chun-li was laid out...the lil bastard disconnected from the match.Bwahahahahahaha!!!!
It's happened to all of us.To be having fun playing an online game, only to have it abruptly ended by a poor loser who would rather rage-quit on you than finish with some dignity. I set up this blog to expose those people, and probably get some laughs out of post-loss hate mail.I will be posting mostly from experience with Street Fighter 4 on the Playstation Network, but I will accept submissions from all games and platforms.
Rules
1. Pictures of offenders is required for proof. 2. Acceptable proof of poor losers can be disconnects, hatemail etc. 3. To qualify as a disconnecting, the loser must pull from the match at an unreasonable time such as right before taking a loss. Everyone gets randomly disconnected at one time or another, please take this into account.
