It's clear that he's playing up for the viewers. He's listed as a 'comedian' on YouTube after all. However, I find his 'comedy' gets old fast. There is nothing witty or clever about it. It is simply the repetition of the same complaints over and over again: "couldn't do anything there!" "lag!" "effin' scrub!" "he's horrible!" "ha ha ha!". His homophobic slurs also needlessly cross a line since it is just an act anyway. But, people keep watching his videos, so he keeps making them.
And another thing... Those who leap to DSP's defense often claim he's like the Angry Video Game Nerd, but he isn't at all. He isn't as funny as AVGN. Although they both swear, at least AVGN is somewhat clever. DSP's videos are much more limited in scope and repetitive than AVGN. DSP's much more mean-spirited, less tongue-in-cheek than AVGN. If AVGN is Street Fighter. DSP is Pit Fighter st best.

No one is saying he sucks at the game, the entire video is about how he is a scrub and complains and whines all the time. When he wins he goes on endlessly about how rubbish the other guy is, when he is losing it is never his performance, it is some other factor that he whines about over and over. Even games where he dominates the entire first round then gets pumped the next 2, he makes excuses. The guy is a bad loser and an example of the ultimate scrub. His game performance/ability is not even in question here, it is simply his attitude when he wins, and more importantly when he loses.
I am so sick and tired of the fanboys claiming DSP is the funniest, smartest, sexiest, coolest, most original, best player, in the world. Its disgusting and it needs to stop.

As for the person who said he uses nearly every single character in the game, its more like he uses the strongest in the game. Since when have you seen him use Fei, Cammy, Chun, E.Honda, Guile, Vega, Abel, C.Viper, Elf, Sakura, Rose, Dan, Gen? 13/25 selectable characters he doesn't choose are bottom tier. 12/25 characters he messes around with are all top or high tier.
Yet when he lost to that Elf player, he obviously didn't know that match up and if he knew better, mostly all of elfs moves are safe against gief.
He should stop being a cocky fag, and take his losses. Just because another player is a scrub, that doesn't mean it should affect your game. So why does it affect him if he's an oh so good player that goes to EVO and win championships in ST. He always blames scrubs, lag, netcode and other bs and not himself. He should probably refine his input movements with those fat Rufus fingers of his.
wow i just saw his fight Digital Mayhem SF4 Tourney 7-25-09 - Bwiyon vs DSP. and he still complains like a little bitch, theres no scrubs there, no netcode, no lag, he says he does an uppercut but his ultra came out and he lost to it? lol how long ago did he win any tournaments? besides that so called evo win ages ago?
